     We greet you in the Name of Him who orders our steps and meets us with mercy.

This church website is designed to assist us in reaching out to our community.  With a membership of over 400 disciples it will serve as a ready resource in helping to promote holistic worship, fervent fellowship and a keen sense of spiritual kinship as we extend our bond into the household of faith.

     As we embark upon this new endeavor, there opens for each of us the opportunity to increase our service to our Lord and Saviour.  My belief is that a pastor must become actively involved with the congregation and the community through religious instruction, Christian Education in the in the Word of God, and through intergenerational fellowship among all members. 

     I also believe that a church cannot grow until we, as Christians, understand the meaning of church membership.  Every member should know the seriousness and sacredness of their commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Churches are never stronger than their membership; and a membership of careless, negligent, growth stunted Christians will prevent a church from accomplishing much for the Lord.  There is a need for every member to be consecrated, trained and enlisted into active service.  We are under obligation to be the very best members possible under the leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ.

     Therfore, the pastor, officers, ministries and congregation of the Rocky Branch Baptist Church stand faithfully upon our theme based on the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel of Luke:  "The cathedral in the country where the ministry of recovery, redemption, restoration, and rejoicing is manifested in Christ through every believer."
